Editorial THERE IS A COUGAR IN THE FOREST

Lucía Granados

A little girl, frustrated by having to leave her games to bring food to her grandmother, suffers a fit of anger so intense that she transforms into a puma. Full of rage, she goes through the forest scaring others. A hunter, alerted by the roars, follows the creature's tracks to the grandmother's house. Convinced that the puma is inside, he runs ready to hunt it, but instead of the ferocious beast, he finds the little girl and her grandmother. This story explores the power of emotions and the importance of accepting the shadow and learning to live with it.

Lucía Granados

I am Colombian by birth and Argentine by choice. Born in Bogotá, I have lived in Mar del Plata for 13 years with my husband and son. After studying chemical engineering and working in the field for eight years, I shifted paths in 2019 to pursue my passion for illustration, attending workshops in Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata. Currently, I am studying a postgraduate degree in illustration at the University of Buenos Aires. I believe true vocations emerge over time if we are open to embracing change.
